If you talk to many PhD students, they'll tell you their first interest in a program was because they ultimately wanted to teach. Then, incentives come along and "publish or perish" becomes the lingua franca. Teaching ends up as a very small component of a program, so this part of my CV is relatively short (much like my research too).
Financial Accounting Concepts (EMBA PIM811) | Forthcoming
Intermediate Accounting for Finance Students (ACC305) | 4.49/5. Selected feedback:
"Professor Sutton did a great job connecting topics learned back to his experience in accounting which made understanding the concepts much easier."
"Professor Sutton was a great teacher for a boring class, he made it fun and actually made me want to go"
On making improvements to the course: "make Kyle the official professor, no changes to his class"
Audit (ACCT426) | 4.29/5
Accounting Lecture Series (ACCT495) | I helped develop curriculum for this course and facilitated guest speakers, including a class-favorite "Hot Ones: Life as a New Accountant".
